Sid’s Little Egg 

This cheeky little bar opened up quietly in 2015 (just opposite The Adelphi) but has amassed a steady following ever since. With a laidback vibe split over two floors, there’s screens to watch the match and a couple of pool tables to boot. With a fine range of beers from the likes of Ilkley Brewery, Magic Rock, Bad Seed and Flying Dog, there’s something on draught for everyone in your team.

Aire Bar 

Perched on the edge of the river sits the firm Leeds favourite that is Aire Bar. Large, airy and with a sizeable balcony, this joint has several screens dotted around as well as some pool tables too. The food in here is highly recommended, whether it be a hearty full English or one of their infamous Yorkshire burgers.

Brotherhood 

So you’re a hipster with a football addiction but can’t stand hanging around with riff-raff? Brotherhood could just be the one for you. The undisputed thinking man’s sports bar not only has several screens showing the hottest matches, but serve up excellent food including hearty venison pie, hot dogs, roasted chipolatas and dripping roast potatoes. Their ales and cocktails are also second to none.

The Hourglass 

If you’re watching the pennies but still want to enjoy the game with a pint or two and some hearty pub grub, then you should seek out The Hourglass. Situated on Lower Briggate, this unassuming pub has two floors and boasts some of the best deals on draught, bottles, shots and cocktails. The food menu is pretty extensive and incredibly tasty given how cheap it is – the sharing planks are especially good (as long as you’re not dieting of course).
